Cute as a button says it all! This necklace is very sweet and delicate. It is made by WhiteTrash Charms and is perfect little necklace for every look.

You need tons of loot for this pair of boots!

OY!!! These Halston boots are to die for!!! These amazing shoes are already causing a fashion stampede. I can imagine myself striding out and about in these gray Halston over-the-knee boots throughout fall and beyond. I would personally wear them over tight, dark, skinny jeans, or under dresses or with skirts. These boots are yummy, smooth gray suede with an approximately a 4.5 inch chunky heel. They are absolutely FANTASTIC and CHIC CHIC CHIC!!! They also run about $1,995!!! I know... perfection comes with a price!

OH MY GOD!! I think that I need to be buried in this amazing booties! These boots make for instant rock 'n' roll attitude and are made by Giuseppe Zanotti. I would wear these boots with a dress with a flirty hemline or skin tight jeans that make the BOOTY POP! These ankle boots are black patent with a gem and mirror embellished. They have 5 inch stiletto heel and have a hidden platform for support and comfort! AHHHH! They are sold for $995. A girl can dream!

Lizzie Grubman= infamous PR girl!

I recently added a Public Relations minor to accompany my Media Studies major and I felt that it was necceseary to do some research about the PR industry. While looking for the most successful firms and publisits I came across Lizzie Grubman. I remembered that she was infamous for being a major ball-buster in the industry and that she was infamous for going to jail.
Here is the low-down:
Grubman is well-known as a publicist for celebrities, founding her own company in 1996, and has represented Britney Spears, Jay-Z and the Backstreet Boys. The 2005 reality show PoweR Girls on MTV centered around a group of young publicists working for Grubman's PR firm.On July 7 2001, Grubman drove her SUV into a crowd of people outside a nightclub in the Hamptons, injuring 16 people. After being asked by security guards to remove her Mercedes from a fire lane, she backed the vehicle into the crowd and was later charged in a 26-count indictment, for felony crimes including second-degree assault, driving while intoxicated, and reckless endangerment.Grubman had been facing up to eight years in prison, but only served 37 days in jail and received five year's probation after reaching a plea bargain.
The trial garnered widespread media coverage not because of the particular circumstances of the crash, but because of what Richard Johnson, editor of the New York Posts Page 6, referred to as "the overreaching drama of class warfare." Grubman was alleged to have made an inflammatory statement before striking her victims with her vehicle: "Fuck you, white trash".Later, allegations arose that she received "special treatment" at the hands of police, who did not perform a Breathalyzer test, despite allegations (and later, criminal charges) that she was intoxicated at the time of the incident.
Grubman has claimed that the SUV incident was an accident.
Not a very good role model, eh? Lizzie Grubman proves that if you have good PR skills you can get yourself out of anything! Right?

From Seinfeld to Stylish!

Julia Louie Dryfus is an American actress and comedienne best known for playing the role of Elaine Benes on the NBC sitcom Seinfeld in the 1990s. She currently stars in the CBS sitcom The New Adventures of Old Christine which she was nominated for an Emmy. This is what she wore last night to the 2008 Emmy's. She looks GORG in a Narcisco Rodriguez gown... I mean honestly, she is a YUMMY MOMMY and so fabulous! I think she was the best dressed last night! A++++. Thoughts?

I have become a huge fan of Jessica's work through Rach and visit her website often. She is creative, innovative, and i love her usage of color. My goal is to one day buy one of Jessica's pieces to hang in my home. I wish her well and will continue to support her and her work.

Baby, it's cold outside!

Living in San Francisco makes you realize how important stylish jackets are to your wardrobe. These two, which greatly contrast each other, are extremely inspiring to me. The first FABULOUS garment is a navy-and-white dot weave double-breasted swing coat. Its a Juicy Couture coat that has tortoiseshell button fastenings, bracelet sleeves, a rounded collar, pockets on hip and is fully lined. It is made of 80% wool which is sure to keep anyone warm on a brisk night in the city. The classic coat is $450 and very chic!
The second coat is truly something unique. A very futuristic Black cropped leather jacket with pleated wings at shoulders. Made by Aminaka Wilmont and has a high collar, a zip through the front, pleat detailing at sides, full sleeves with buckle fastening tabs and an exposed zipper and a rear designer embossed plaque. This work of art is $2,095!!!! I know... a little out of my price range, but this leather jacket is the epitome of CHIC and fashion forwardness!

Boston Market

This week I went to visit San Jose with Shabiz and we had a fantastic time. I had expressed to him many times that I wanted to go for a meal at the AMAZING Boston Market on 16th and Potero. Sadly, we haven't had the opportunity to do so, so I suggested that we indulge at the one in San Jose. Now, let me tell you... Boston Market isn't elegant, but it is by far the yummiest meal I have ever had for 6 dollars!!! I had the 1/4 piece chicken with Creamed Spinach which is unique because it is mixed with rich cheeses, cream and garlic. I also gobbled up the Sweet Potato Casserole which is Beauregard sweet potatoes slowly cooked, mashed, and mixed with spices and brown sugar. Sprinkled with an oatmeal streusel and mini marshmallows. And finally, a small piece of moist cornbread. The meal was all I expected and more! Boston Market is a great place to go eat at if you are trying to eat a delicious meal on a budget. I greatly suggest you take the time to visit the location in Potero Hill.

step BUMP step BUMP BUMP

THIS IS HILARIOUS! WATCH it in its entirety! BHAHAHAHA

New Q-Tip

This new Q-Tip joint is off the hook. It has an old school feel to it, but is still modern and hip at the same time. I love him, his voice, and the video. Check it out!

I found this AMAZING shirt on Pat Field's website and it is my new obsession. Is very cute and also a very truthful statement. I love Patricia Field!!! She is an American Academy Award-nominated costume designer, stylist and fashion designer. For her work on Sex and the City, Field was nominated for 5 Emmy Awards, with one win, and nominated for 6 Costume Designers Guild Awards, with 4 wins. She is truly a talent and this little tee is truly adorable!

Hannah Montana's new boyfriend

I am addicted to celebrity gossip blogs and today I encountered pictures of Miley Cyrus and her new BF going to church together. This very cute, very gay looking guy is named Justin and he is an underwear model as well as some type of singer. The twist to all of this is SLUTTY CYRUS is 15 and her new boo is 20!!! the little biatch is growing up way too fast and its really sad.

BABKA= DELISH!

While I was eating a fabulous dinner with my amazing male friend, Shabiz tonight we got on the topic of cakes and sweet things of sorts. I began to reminisce about my childhood and life in the Valley when I suddenly remembered my love of Babka. Babka is a tall, spongy yeast cake filled with chocolate. The best part is that it is often topped with streusel and chocolate chips. Babka is often popular among the Jewish population, hence the reason I was raving about it to Shabiz. I told him about how my mother would buy it weekly, on Friday, for Shabbat, and that I would often sneak down to the kitchen to slice small pieces of Babka for myself. It is truly delish and I am now actively trying to find a Jewish bakery in the city that could provide me with some ORGASMIC chocolate babka. yummy!

season 12 of The View

So... of course I tuned into The View this morning. I like to make my coffee and sit in bed and watch The View every morning. I always enjoy the discussion and banter of these women and aspire to one day be like them. Today, was the opening of their 12th season and they started with HOT TOPICS(my favorite) like they always do... and Elizabeth Hasselbeck of course started some type of fight with Whoopi about Obama and McCain. Regardless, the reason I decided to write this post is because they had New Kids on the Block on the show to perform. All i have to say is BHAHAHAHAHAHA. Seriously? I am currently watching them and it is not ok. they are like 45 years and trying to act like they 21 again. It is really sad. But on a positive note Jordan Knight is still lookin bomb. He has been my crush since the age of 5 and I can honestly say that he is till hanging.

Must Do: Hit up the MOMA for Frida.

Frida Kahlo= Old School GANGSTA!!!
Shabiz (my gentleman friend) took me to the MOMA in SF one beautiful Saturday afternoon to witness the new Frida exhibit and I was BLOWN AWAY!! I was so impressed by Frida's visions, details, and passions. It was the best way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

When my amazing, crazy, New Yorker mother came to town I suggested that we go to the exhibit. This time around the maj, auntie Shelia, and I took the audio tour at the MOMA and it was well worth the $3 it cost for the head set. It made me appreciate the artwork even more than I ever had and I strongly suggest that if you decide to make a trip to 3rd and mission for some Frida that you take the audio tour.

The exhibit ends on September 28th so make sure that you hit it up ASAP.
i know i plan on going at least one more time. Buy tickets online or at the box office and make sure you go through the gift shop... amazing posters and dope shot glasses.
ENJOY!

Congrats to my girl, Ashley!

My BFF Ashley just recently got a job at CC SKYE, an accessories line that makes high end jewleryand purses. They sell their products at department stores like Saks and Neiman Marcus, but I have seen most of their cute bracelet and belts in small boutiques in Studio City and Malibu. CC SKYE is chic, practical, and simply fabulous. Strong, bold bracelets that have a Chanel flair to them are their trademark. Ashley is working closely with the head designer of CC SKYE and I am so beyond happy for her! Mazel Tov, my love!

My boyfriend, Oscar.

If someone asked me to recite a love poem it would go a little something like this:

Royal blue-and-emerald silk faille cap sleeve dress with an leaf and sequin embroidered hemline. Oscar de la Renta dress has a high cut neckline, a flared hemline with slightly rigid hem, is fully lined and has a zip at the back to fasten.

100% silk.

The embroidery at the hem of this dress is a work of art in itself. The high cut neckline is juxtaposed wonderfully with a full skirt and the dip dye finish lends modernity to the overall feel of the piece. This dress honestly turns me on. Oscar de la Renta is so beyond talented and his pieces are like works of art. I take a sigh when i see that the price of this dress is $4,450. But I pray that one day I will be able to own anything made by Oscar de la Renta.
