YUMMY! Since moving to San Francisco I have visited many different bars and have tried all different types of margaritas. The Chevy's Mexican chain has fabulous margaritas and their Happy Hour is $3 per margarita (very reasonable!!). I am a huge fan of the original margarita on the rocks. Chevy's is located on Van Ness and Golden Gate.
Tortilla Heights is located at Divisadero and Bush streets. This place is very cute and great place for groups as well as couples. The margaritas are stellar, a bit pricey, but worth the extra money if you are looking for a nice, strong margarita. They have an amazing Happy Hour from 4:30-6:30 where you can 50 cent drinks!! I know... CRAZY! Pitchers are great for groups and so is the atmosphere. I highly suggest Tortilla Heights for any event, on any evening, and especially after a hard day at work, or in my case after an extremely hard midterm.http://www.tortillaheights.com/
